Awesome visuals but lacking

Warning: Spoilers
The two things that made it a 7 and not a 10 for me was:

1) The jokes were lacking creativity and left you feeling awkward. One example is the "One Second Later" part. I get it was part of the glitch aspect in the story, but it felt more like a bad joke and ran on for too long.

2) All the characters acted a lot stranger than they would in a 2D episode. This is hard to explain, but you can definitely feel it when you watch. One example that stands out is when, PB kisses her hand in front of the Ice King. It just seemed really out of the ordinary for her character. In the episode you sort of feel like your watching robotic NPCs interact with each other in a video game. That might have been what they were shooting for, but I didn't find it enjoyable or that it made the episode any better.

Despite all of that I can understand why people like this episode. "A Glitch is a Glitch" is honestly just one big drug trip. In fact you're probably better off smoking something before you watch. The glitchy visuals and 3-D effects are out of this world and I love that they tried this style for an episode. But overall, I felt like they could have done a lot better job with the plot and dialogue, so I was left a little disappointed.

Awesome! Warning: Spoilers
I just simply loved this episode, mostly because I like a lot the works of David O'Reilly, like "Please say something" and "The External World". When I saw the CGI sequences of the sixteenth episode from the second season, "Guardians of Sunshine", I thought that those segments looked like something like David O'Reilly would have done…So for me it was a pleasant surprise to find out that he was going to direct an actual episode of "Adventure Time".

And while "A Glitch Is a Glitch" was an incredibly strange chapter (Even for the usual standards of this series) personally I found it to be incredibly fascinating as well, being funny to watch despite all the weirdness.

Amazing

Probably one of the coolest episodes of TV I've ever seen. The computer animation is so fluid and well done, and the abstract imagery is fantastic. I'm generally a fan of the rest of David OReileys works so it was a given that I'd love his creation with the world of Adventure Time.

Beware, the 3D Overlords Are Taking Over!!!

Warning: Spoilers
This is, personally, my second least favorite episode of Adventure Time. Don't get me wrong, I love the series. But there were almost no redeeming qualities that I found in the show. It'd be number one on the list if not for "Food Chain." There was only one good joke, which was the donut guy with the glitched face, and the way you can alter the universal code was kinda cool. But the other jokes weren't funny, the glitched-out stuff made me really worry about my TV, and Ice King was an idiot in the episode! Seriously, I can understand getting rid of the people, but WHY would you destroy the landscape? What will you do, and where will you live?! Overall, this episode gets a 1/10.
