- Not much actual sexual content or nudity, but there is some raunchy humor and references to various sexual things. Pretty much the same as the first.
- Ted and Johnny smash up a computer after Ted reads out some sexual terms - it's hilarious and the sexual terms are not emphasized too much.
- Ted and Johnny discuss trying to arouse a character - they run to the character's house but the character wakes up.
- There is a very funny reference to the Kardashians related to sexual activity when Johnny gets into a situation.
- Porn is mentioned on a laptop but is never shown. Scene is played for laughs.
- A shelf full of sperm falls on top of john and he gets covered in it
- John and Ted walk into a room filled with sperm and when John bumps into the shelf, it falls on top of him, covering him with sperm.
- There are some moderate references to sexual intercourse. The sexual content in this film is toned down by the first.
- There are also sex references involving sperm specimens during a scene set in a fertility clinic.
- A man's butt crack is partially shown.
- A pipe in the shape of a penis is seen.
- A woman is shown having three prosthetic breasts. A man accidentally rips her top off revealing the breasts. Nipples are seen though. This is from a distance, so it might be missed by most viewers.
- The sexual content in ted 2 is not as bad as the first 'ted'

- Two hillbillies in a jeep get hit by an oncoming semi-truck, then incinerated in explosion.
- John Bennett gets hit by a life size model of the Starship Enterprise.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- In one scene, John is seriously injured. He is initially thought to have died, but it turns out he was playing a joke on Ted, Sam, and Tami-Lynn. Played for laughs.
- Donny is finally able to strap Ted down in a darkened room and proceeds to cut him open with a large knife. We see him begin to insert the knife into Ted's stomach, and the bear reacts in pain, but John bursts in just as Donny is about to go deeper.
- When the doctor tells Ted, Samantha and Tami-Lynn that John didn't make it and they go say goodbye but John wakes up and yells at Ted and laughs and scares everyone. Which is played for laughs.
