How this got signed off is beyond me.

Jenn puts the pieces together and makes an arrest, her astute way of thinking leads her straight to the killer. Erin moves in with Jacqui, but quickly realises the life she's have with her mother.

No, just no, what has happened in this fourth series, it started off well, but it really has gone off the boil towards the end. The story of Erin and Jacqui drowned out the actual mystery of who started the fire.

This is by far the weakest episode of The Bay so far, early on they built up so many strands and plot lines, but they just didn't go anywhere, Mark was such an interesting character, he wasn't developed, Dean didn't really go anywhere either, such a shame.

Everything was just so half baked, there was no build up in the previous episode, it left this finale wanting. Bits of efficiencies, bits of bullying, bits of Jacqui's awful parenting skills, it really was a shocker.

I'm really pleased to see that The Bay is coming back for series five, but, it really needs to up its game, this fourth series started well, but it nosedived at the end.

At least poor Maddy finally gets some attention.

4/10.
