Wholesome Reality
Pritchie453 August 2023
I don't like reality tv shows because of the narcissism required to make one but this has a few elements that makes it worth watching. From the start Sylvester Stallone makes it clear his intentions of making the show, he wants more involvements in his daughters lives and this facilitates that. Secondly, the episodes are short and sweet and the season in totality is shorter than some movies being made. The show is hindered by the fact that this series doesn't revolve around any particular event in any of the family members lives. Sylvester celebrates his birthday in the first episode but unlike his action movies it is uneventful. The series doesn't have a focus or mystery but you stick around for the dynamic chemistry between a father and his three daughters and the wholesome nature instilled in the family.

What a family
bigdeant-167045 March 2024
Loving this show, seeing how close they all are and how grounded the girls are despite the lifestyle.

Also have to love all the guest appearances from so many A list celebs.

Never knew much about the personal life of Sylvester Stallone, but seeing how he is around his friends and Family, is inspiring he's exactly what you'd expect from him. Also this is a perfect platform to promote Tulsa King, which is an amazing show, showing Sky at his best.

I'm not a huge fan of celebrity reality shows, but this is one that I not only was surprised by, but one I'd recommend to anyone to watch, Inspirational and sweet.

A Heartwarming Showcase of Family Values and Sly's Endearing Persona
XzingLawliet18 May 2023
Wow, let me just start by saying that The Family Stallone has been an absolute delight to watch! As a fan of Sylvester Stallone, I was beyond excited to get a glimpse into his personal life and see the dynamics of the Stallone family unfold on screen. And boy, did it deliver!

This show isn't your typical reality TV drama. Instead, it's a genuine portrayal of the Stallone family's values and their unwavering love and support for one another. It's heartwarming to witness their unity in the face of challenges and the way they always have each other's backs. It's a refreshing departure from the superficiality often associated with reality shows, and it left me with a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

But let's talk about Sly, the man himself. I've admired him for years as an actor, but seeing his personal side showcased in The Family Stallone was something truly special. Sly's charisma and down-to-earth nature shine through every scene. He's not just a legendary Hollywood icon; he's a doting father, a devoted husband, and an all-around remarkable human being. His genuine warmth and humility make him instantly relatable, and I couldn't help but be inspired by his unwavering support for his family.

The show strikes the perfect balance between entertainment and authenticity. It never feels staged or forced. Instead, it feels like you're right there with the Stallone family, experiencing their everyday lives alongside them. It's like being a fly on the wall, witnessing their triumphs, their struggles, and the occasional disagreements. It's real, raw, and incredibly engaging.

The Family Stallone is a gem of a show. It's not just about the famous name or the glitz and glamor of Hollywood. It's about family, love, and the power of genuine connections. Whether you're a longtime fan of Sly or simply someone who appreciates heartwarming stories, this series will leave a lasting impact. Get ready to be inspired, entertained, and reminded of the importance of family values in our lives. Trust me, you don't want to miss it!

PS IMDB plz give a "How you doin'?" to Scarlet from my side :)

Overall, it's fun popcorn-munching reality...
shawnw00727 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not much of a reality-show fan, TBH. However, I do like Sly Stallone and his appearance as the sardonic muscle-bound doting dad certainly does not disappoint. In a household packed with women, he does well to hold his ground...and it's fun to watch him sigh or roll his eyes with exasperation while his 3 spoiled but lovable daughters sporadically work his nerves.

I also like the fact that the show tries hard to capture the family's good old-fashioned sense of humanity. Once you can look past the Bentley's, the million-dollar flats and enchanting swimming pools, the Stallones are a typical family wrestling similar challenges of the world. I do have to admit - the Stallone girls perpetually donned in their rolling lashes, thick bronzer and caked-up Maybelline has worn my nerves, but of course, we're aware that they ARE nepo-babies.

My only contention is, even though this is purported "reality", something about the behavior of the family always seems staged...like they're not completely spontaneous, but instead, performing. I know the heavy presence of cameras would ruin anyone's spontaneity to a degree, but I'm always reminded, somehow, that this is still just a show. The behaviors of the leads never renders as completely natural. Perhaps the picture-perfect image of Sly and Jennifer was shattered after learning that this amazing couple, who successfully paraded as two affectionate, loving and dedicated individuals in Season 1, soon planned to divorce shortly afterward. Was the love they showed on camera genuine, or did their impending divorce affirm that it's all just a façade? I'm not so convinced about everything else now.

Overall, fun television if you learn not to take it too seriously.

Sly and his family are fantastic!!
mikebrown-268582 June 2023
Sly is an incredible role model and it's fantastic to hear his insights and wisdom that he shares with his family. Jennifer is an incredible woman in her own right & they appear to be an amazing couple and have brought up a wonderful family. All the Stallone family have a great sense of humor and the show is light and fun which makes for great entertainment. Uncle Frank is great and the banter between the Stallone brothers is hilarious!! It great to see a wonderful family- especially coming out of Hollywood which is notorious for the opposite.

I found this show to be really enjoyable and entertaining!

well...
NullUnit18 May 2023
.... just seems like a way for Sly to fast-track some "celebrity" for all three daughters at once.

It's akin to the Kardashian show... or any of the "real housewives" shows... etc... If that's what you like, you will probably like this. Although I will state that the "mental stability" and maturity of the Stallone family appears to be at a much higher level than the other shows I've mentioned.

I did find the second episode funny.. .all the talk about being an overprotective father.. but then essentially creating a show that, at its core, is merely objectifying all three of his daughters at the same time. CLEARLY there's the ulterior motive of getting the daughters "known" more.

I guess "fame" is REALLY important to some people and if you can get that nepotism push, why not use it. After all "Hollywood" isn't about talent or skill 99% of the time.. it's about who your family is and if they can use their celebrity to get you hired. Here's a great example.

What's really striking about this is show is how NONE of the Stallones seem to realize just how much "privilege" they are provided.

It's actually kind of funny.. all the "problems" they face are relatively insignificant and only seem "troubling" because something as a MINOR impact on some expensive outing. It's really quite hilarious... they don't have an real life worries so they conjure up some pointless drama and have some sort of emotional reaction to fabricated "problems".

I've seen Tulsa King... Sophia's performance was NOT that great... and her last name is "Stallone" the star of Tulsa King is a Stallone... and yet they all repeatedly act and state that "she got the part on her own." Really? Being the daughter of the primary star had no baring? Really? Are they really that blind???

Stand up and be loud and boisterous in a restaurant.. everyone just laughs it off.. if a non-celebrity were to do such a thing, after a moment or two, then'd be "disturbing other diners" and they be asked to stop, asked to leave, or the police would be called.

And the fact that each episode shows the women in bathing suits.. short shorts, etc.. yeah... none of that has anything to do with WHY this is a series, right? (Admittedly they are all very attractive, so this just plays into the objectification of them all.)

Or marrying someone more than 20 years your junior... yeah .... that happens every day. I've lost count of the 75 years olds I've met with 50 year old wives..... surely that has NOTHING to do with wealth and fame... come on!

The ENTIRE family takes a vacation to Rome.. and oh NO! Someone has a headache!!! Ain't it horrible! I mean seriously....

I fear all these young women would just wither quickly if they did not have the safety and security of a multi-million dollar father. One thing is certain.. they aren't prepared to actually deal with real life and will rely on their privilege. I can't blame then.. hell I'd do the same if it were possible.

I fear "Hollywood" causes brain rot.. or at least common sense rot.

A family willing to let the public in
mstewartmisc29 June 2023
I didn't expect this series to be an epic movie, it is a family of a well known actor who is loved by many willing to let the public in to see his life and his families life that is genuine. I can't imagine allowing someone to film you all the time. I applaud their willingness to show who they are. Our real lives are not epic, perfect movies. Real life is just that real life. It is a joy to watch someone you grew up watching let us in to see his family. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Didn't have any expectations of depth or movie perfection. Just love seeing Stallone's family. Just my humble opinion.

Poor Sly
rorygunn19 May 2023
Sylvester Stallone definitely shows he will do anything for family with this reality show. The power of his stardom is still strong along with the loyalty he commands because only for Sly would Al Pacino and Dolph Lundgren agree to appear in this show. In fact that's the only part of it I watched. I had no interest in the wife or the daughters who complain about how Sly scares off the boys which really says more about them and the guys they pick than him. Obviously they're not worth the trouble despite their name and looks. No doubt though this show was made really for them to get them in the public eye. I doubt it will help if the girls have no real goals or ambitions to aim for. It's a shame that Sage Stallone is no longer alive because I think it would have been good to finally see Sly and his son together outside of their appearances onscreen in Rocky V and Daylight. But maybe we'll see Sly and Frank together and see how their relationship as brothers over the years has stayed strong. It would be more interesting to see that than the wife and daughters who to me have no charisma or charm the way Sly has.

Great insight the Stallone family
garethwooduk6 July 2023
Really not sure on the low rating reviews, this is a great insight into the life of one of Hollywood's greatest actors away from the fame, tinsel town and cameras.

I knew he had daughters and still in a very loving commited marriage, but it's great to see just like any other family that it's made up of tantrums, humour, laughter, support and at times testing... Well he's a man of 3 daughters!

It's great to see Sy's brother in it 'Frank' as I rekcon most people dont even know he has a brother, it shows the whole family is very down to earth and how Sly has taught his daughters to work hard for what you want just like he did with his break out script for Rocky and making his own success, visiting the steps as a family which is a huge part of his success and the message of 'keep moving forward'....

To everyone else, Sly is a well known a A-list super star, with friends from Pacino, Lungren & Arnie but to his family... The glue that brings tham all together.

No mention of either son when speaking of family?
diamonddax10 August 2023
Couldn't help but feel a little heartbroken that they didn't take just five minutes to mention either of Sly's sons. The name was The "Family" Stallone. There are messsges throughout about how much family means. The ending was all about family. Very sad that his two sons weren't mentioned at all. They could have acknowledged Sage and his passing after they spoke of Sophia's heart issues. They could have had just tribute wording or dedication wording at the end "Gone but not forgotten" I understand privacy for his other son but they could have found a way to acknowledge him. Could have even found a way to include him in some way. The world understands autism now that so many people are on the spectrum.

They found a way to include Pacino and Arnold... When speaking of the "FAMILY" Stallone - please don't forget to include all of your children... A simple acknowledgment at the end, even if an afterthought could have been worked in. They were his children first afterall... Would have given much higher rating if so...

Captivating and Inspiring
ryanmason197427 May 2023
I recently had the pleasure of immersing myself in the captivating reality TV show that delves into the extraordinary lives of the Stallone family. From the very first episode, I was instantly drawn into their world, and I couldn't get enough.

The show beautifully showcases the incredible talents and dynamics of this iconic family. It provides an intimate look into the lives of Sylvester Stallone, his talented children, and the bond that holds them together. With each episode, I found myself eagerly anticipating the next chapter in their journey.

What sets this reality TV show apart is its ability to strike a perfect balance between entertainment and inspiration. It goes beyond the glitz and glamour associated with celebrity families, allowing viewers to witness the highs and lows, triumphs, and challenges faced by the Stallone family. The genuine moments of vulnerability and raw emotions make them relatable and endearing.

The storytelling is masterfully crafted, seamlessly blending heartwarming family moments, personal struggles, and the pursuit of their dreams. It's evident that the Stallones are not just a glamorous family; they are resilient individuals with an unwavering determination to overcome obstacles and leave their mark on the world.

The production values are top-notch, capturing the essence of their lives with exceptional cinematography and expert editing. The soundtrack perfectly complements each scene, heightening the emotional impact and immersing viewers in the world of the Stallone family.

I applaud the Stallone family for opening their lives to us, sharing their joys and challenges with grace and authenticity. This reality TV show is a testament to their resilience, talent, and unwavering bond. It's an absolute must-watch for anyone seeking genuine entertainment that leaves you inspired and uplifted.

I wholeheartedly recommend the reality TV show about the Stallone family, as it deserves every bit of the ten-star rating. Prepare to be enthralled by their remarkable journey, as they continue to captivate audiences with their indomitable spirit and undeniable star power.

It's Hollywood Baby
popcornchicken1025 May 2023
Not much depth. I saw the trailers for this on Paramount Plus and was mildly interested to look up more info - but not much can be said about reality TV following a family that hasn't been done to death and formulaic.

I admired "The Family Man" Stallone's acting and background to check this out but I admit, I wish that I could take back the time spent watching. It is what it is. Stallone is aging and wants to make sure his family is well taken care of, and if he needs to push his baby birds into the spotlight so that his daughters' names are in the ring, good for them. Don't expect any stand out moments.

a pretty good reality show worth watching.
josephurrutia19 May 2023
When i first saw this show that showed up on paramount+'s youtube channel, it was pretty good, it even shows sylvester stallone away from home, filming tulsa king in tulsa oklahoma, while we see jennifer, his wife taking care of his three beautiful daughters, sistine, scarlett and sophia. Waiting for him to come back home to his family, giving him hugs and kisses and making a nice cake for his birthday. Which i would consider a nice thing to honor their very own father. I'm honestly surprised to see that real life actors dolph lungren and al pacino may have appeared in the first episode. Wow..

Sly the reality show director - no depth to be found
dcipledude21 June 2023
Oh how I wanted this to be good, to catch a glimpse of the real Sylvester Stallone, superhero for every +40 something out there. What is he like waking up, does he cook, how much does he work out, does he do chores around the house, take the dogs for a walk, does he eat pizza in front of the TV and falls asleep with a beer on his lap ... If that's what u expect from this reality show then I have to disappoint you. From the get go it is clear that Sly agreed to do this show only to make his daughters rise to fame because he feels that he's in the last stage of his life and time is running out.

The problem is that Sylvester Stallone can't let go of directing, of keeping control of every aspect in his life. The man is not interested in sharing anything profound with the fans, even in this "reality" show he plays a 24/7 cool guy which is just ridiculous at his age. He has major issues with his +20 year old daughters having boyfriends, he wants them "to stop wasting valuable time" with simply dating guys, imagine that ! It's called living Sly, living and learning and experiencing heartache. But no, Mr Stallone doesn't want any of it, his daughters need to stay with him forever because he's 76 years old and he worked all his life, mostly missing out on every major milestone of his children's lives and now he wants to catch up. Well Sly, who told you to shoot Tulsa King, at the age of 76, being the multimillionair you are, in a different state and be gone from home for 6 months ? He doesn't NEED to do anything anymore, he even states that he's "done" with shooting far away from home, he wants to be with his family he says. But then why does he have at least 5 more movies in preproduction ??

Anyway, Frank Stallone is in almost every episode even though in the 1st episode the girls spill that they never ever see uncle Frank ... So again Sly is pushing Frank into the spotlights. In that same 1st episode there is a cameo from (a very old) Al Pacino, no idea what that was all about, it looked like a geriatric gathering.

Every episode takes 19 minutes so you don't really waste time but I'm afraid most people will have a different opinion of Mr Stallone after seeing this. And as a last remark : the man doesn't do kisses. He doesn't kiss his wife or his daughters, he kinda hugs and throws a cheek .. Again no idea what that is all about.

Conclusion : I tell everyone to watch the "Arnold" documentary, I really loved it, Schwarzenegger doesn't play roles, what u see is what u get. He lives alone and feeds his donkey & pony and smokes cigars and he is content with what he achieved in life.

Sylvester Stallone is another story .. even though this is obviously not a documentary, I'm quite certain an Arnold reality show would be more fun and more honest to watch.

Love!
anchorsawaymom26 March 2024
Both my husband and I totally loved it. They're authentic, loving and hilarious family. They use no curse language and that is a plus for us.... We are so tired of seeing TV shows where every one is constantly fighting, cheating and screaming at eachother so this tv show brings a breath of fresh air.. I really hope this show comes back for a season 3. I'm intrigued to see what happens with these young ladies. Could a Possible Marriage be in the future? Dating? Graduations? More family vacations would be really nice as they are a hilarious bunch. I love how much they laugh with their parents and Uncle Frank.

Waste of time!
animositisomina3514 June 2023
Do you want to see Stallone's talentless daughters whine about how they have trouble getting into relationships? Do you want to see Stallone's bimbo wife ruin a cake? Do you want to see the same manufactured drama that you see in almost every other reality show? If yes, then maybe this show is for you. Otherwise, I can't imagine who would be interested in watching this? Sly appears to be in pain for most of the show because it's beyond obvious that he's only doing this show in order to boost the profile of his unskilled daughters. The guy is 76 and clearly wants a break after working his entire life.

The most loving family I've known
tonimathis-5493119 March 2024
I have never written a review on anything I've watched before. I have to say that I absolutely love Sly as a father and a human being. I've watched the Rocky videos a million times, but seeing him as a father and husband made me cry so much. I love this family. He is the most loving and caring person. I love how protective he is of his girls, and how their interests and lives are so important to him. He seems like such a wonderful father and human being. He is an inspiration through his writhing and movies, but most of all as a father and husband. I'm so glad he did this reality show with his family sk the world can see how truly wonderful and beautiful they all are. People this successful people have everything but they don't. This family is so amazing and inspiring.

His daughters are embodiments of Grace guided by a resilient mother and supportive father.
yearnlearnearnlife18 July 2023
The daughters are embodiments of grace, a quality they showcase in their respective domains. Not just 'good girls,' but rather young women of substance, fortitude, and an inspiring sense of responsibility.

Their mother, a woman of resilience, kindness, and unwavering strength, is the fulcrum on which this family balances. She not only epitomizes a good mother but stands as an emblem of maternality, imparting love, wisdom, and values that define the essence of this family.

Their father, a pillar of support and a beacon of guidance, embodies the very notion of a 'good father.' His love, care, and unflinching support for his family are palpable, painting the picture of a man who prioritizes his family above all else.

The Family Stallone isn't merely a 'good family,' they exemplify what a balanced, nurturing, and supportive family should be. Each member's distinct qualities converge to form a cohesive unit of love, respect, and mutual growth. Their story is one of inspiration, an exemplar of unity and familial harmony.

Sincerely, MPMD.

Sly and the Family Stone?
kelii314 June 2023
Nope not the 60's funk disco group but.. It's the Stallones or Bolognas Italian sub from Joisee. This family of bologne is purportedly the eastern answer to the west coast family of ultimate reality pukes.. wait for it... wait .. the kardashians! MIC DROP!! Reality couch potatoes are microwaving their buttered popcorn caging their pampered cats and dogs anticipating a war of REALITY BETWEEN MILLIONAIRES. This is probably the most disgusting vision in the universe and if..if there are other sentient life or higher powers out there in our beautiful wondrous universe please please cleanse our earth we are not the proper caretakers.

There's one positive. The family stallone have better genes without the kardashian corrupt baggage, for now.

A better reality tv show starring a celebrity than all the others out there
lotusflower_cam22 February 2024
I stumbled on this show when season one came out, and had zero expectation and was pleasantly surprised! What piqued my interest was it was none other than Sylvester Stallone and his family, the tough guy movie star who I actually didn't expect to do this kind of series. Growing up in the 80s and 90s when he established his stardom, I didn't care for his movies at all and I had an image of the guy as a typical self-absorbed Hollywood star who didn't have much of a character. Well, after seeing this series, I realized it was my ignorant stereotyping of the macho movie star that had always stuck with me but is now totally gone.

Yes, Mr Stallone is a typical male in many ways, and I can imagine the efforts Ms Jennifer Flavin had to make in their marriage, let alone the near-divorce that was featured in season one, but he seems to be a real stand-up, caring family man of good values. And he, and his family, are funny! You can see a lot of love and respect each of Stallone family member has for each other and it makes you happy seeing them together. This is a an uplifting reality tv series starring a celebrity. Most reality series starring famous people don't leave you feeling warm, but rather anxious and unsettled from all the drama or vanity. This show makes your heart warm and cheering for the Stallones.

The three daughters are typical California-raised rich girls who are living their lives in their twenties under the protection and guidance of two pretty cool parents who love them but also don't spoil them rotten. By the end of season two, I found myself cheering for each of them.

So far, this show has been a great breather and I have enjoyed it very much. I hope there's season three and if there is, I hope the producers will keep the show as genuine, light-hearted, and focused on the good and positive as season one and two.

Ok this might be the worst thing I've ever watched in my entire tv life and damn I've watched a lot of tv in my time. I watched one episode and I couldn't stop cringing. DO NOT WATCH THIS IT'S TERRIBLE. That's all the rest of this is just random.

The The Great Reset of America was the most popular game of film in history in a few decades but it is now a reality that it was never the most successful movie of all times in history to have a single title and title that is still a very good movie and it was the best of both of the worlds and it is still the most successful one in history and the h.

Better Lives than Yours
Love_Life_Laughter4 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This modern take on family life of the Rich and Famous is hard to resist. It is a fortune built on mental toughness - the legend goes that the then unknown writer Sly Stallone's first script Rocky was turned down 100 times and when finally conditionally accepted with Sly not playing the lead, he turned THEM down. Now that is b-lls. Apparently even his almost impossibly beautiful and wealthy young daughters suffer from dating insecurity - I cringe and laugh in recollection. Note to much younger, 27-year-old self, don't sweat it so much, it will all work out! What is so endearing about this tribe is the undercurrent of appreciation they have for each other and for their hard-earned lifestyle. Sly remarking that the New York he remembers - sleeping on couches and even doorsteps - is not what his daughters experience, and the careful care he and his just as talented wife take in raising them for a tough world despite their privileges, is truly touching. Seize the moment, and love each other while you can, is the watchword of this family. An affirmation of life and of a life well lived.

Who cares
Who cares about watching another Hollywood actor shoving his wealth and spoiled daughters in our faces. Also these shows usually have a script and director so just another phony "reality" show. All they do is live in a big house, live off stalones money, stroll down the catwalk, travel anywhere and complain about life. Don't watch reality shows as they are not real. Why doesn't Hollywood follow around people who actually live in the real world. Lots of normal average people who have real jobs, real lives, real families and certainly real day to day struggles and they are interesting and tuned in to the world. I know of a equine vet clinic where the vets are all women, who are pretty, smart and busy dealing with horses and people. Now that wud be a great show.
