Ugh! I hated this episode. Is easily one of the worst episodes in the entire "Saint Seiya Omega" series (And that's saying something) It manages to be not only dull and poorly made, but also has a horrible message as well, implying that physical attractiveness equals goodness and vice-versa, turning Ichi, one of the least..."graceful" saints into a traitor moved by ignoble reasons who was jealous of Seiya's strength and physical appearance. (?)
One of the very few positive aspects of "Saint Seiya Omega" is that least one of the secondary Bronze saints from the original series, Bear Geki, good a better treatment, becoming a mentor for the new saints. On the other side of the spectrum was Ichi, who despite being one of the very first 10 Bronze saints who were introduced in the series, become some sort of pathetic comic relief who gets zero respect from everyone.
It is true that his role in the original series wasn't exactly the most dignified one (After he was defeated in a very humiliating manner by Cygnus Hyoga) he become only a secondary character with almost no lines and very little screen-time (I think that also that infamous "Tenkai-Hen" movie affected his image a lot, showing him as a despicable coward) but this episode makes things even worse for him, turning him into a villain (Who, to add insult to injury, is once again defeated in a very humiliating manner.) Well, at least the end of the episode Ichi shows some regret for this actions, and in one the recent chapters from the second season he appears once again at the side of good, so perhaps not all hope is lost for him in this new series.
I didn't like very much that new silver saint, Caelum Michelangelo: While he had a somewhat interesting power (creating rock golems) he seemed to be just a generic villain who probably won't appear in the series once again. I think he will be not missed.
