Acting, direction, music, all usual high standards, good stunt work by the standins.

The story however lacks polish and is tone deaf toward the end.

We are to believe fisk would not see robyns actions coming, she's given him enough proof and evidence she is not going to roll over unless she has no other choice in the matter and yet he is still surprised she out plays him?

Her ex seems like an ok dude, cliche as he is, and their interactions are textbook old flame tropes.

But what failed was the way delilah handles her interviewer after the job is given, delilah discovers her new boss is a closet racist and doesn't care about the crown act. But because delilah has braids in her hair the boss decides to put her in the back out of the public eye, the woman who interviewed delilah is also black but she follows the rules and gives up her cultural identity because she isn't in a situation to pass up the opportunity, where unlike delilah has the luxury of a caring family with seemingly large resources and thus has the freedom to stand up for herself and so she shows up the next day to quit.

Delilah says her peace and looks to her interviewer for back up, but she denies the claims of racism and delilah walks out.

Later the interviewer shows up at robyns home and wants to apologise, but delilah is having none of it, the poor woman gets blind sided by delilah's anger and self righteousness and gets a door in the face for good measure?!

My problem with this development is while delilah had the right to stand up for herself and put them all on notice, she doesn't have the right to make demands of someone she just met who isn't in a position of power or influence but more importantly doesn't have a back up plan to rely on should things go south, so delilah venomously accuses this poor woman for looking out for herself as if it's a crime.

And then to make it worse robyn and vi support this response ?

This twist clashes with the core premise of the show, of helping people out who can't or won't help themselves due to their circumstances.

I can only hope it was a heat of the moment thing and it is rectified.
