- A comedic look at corruption, hypocrisy and greed in the film industry by two not very talented filmmakers.
- Some Awesome Action Movies (Unas Buenas Peliculas de Accion) is a Spanish language film that parodies the film industry and the idea anyone with a camera can be a filmmaker. This film is a sequel to Awesome Action Movie (Una Buena Peliculas de Accion). The main characters from the first film, Leonel and Roberto Rangel, remain detained for their hair-brained idea to kidnap Hector Soberon so he can star in their movie. In the sequel, their cousins, Kiki and Teo Rangel, jump in to continue the family's filmmaking legacy. The brothers speak with their aunt and Uncle Churros about becoming filmmakers but get little support or encouragement. The brothers forge ahead but are at an impasse because they are initially unwilling to work together. Competing interests develop and the two are off to the races to write and finish a film before the other. Kiki and Teo are each hired by unscrupulous producers to direct films. The two producers are a divorced couple who are set to seek revenge against each other. Each producer sets out to shoot a film with the same title, though one shoots a western and the other a horror film. During filming, the two young, inexperienced directors uncover abuse and corruption exacted by each executive producer. Kiki and Teo reunite and form a plan to expose the corruption and exact revenge. The film cast include well-known telenovela actors (Hector Soberon and Juan Carlos Cassasola) and an on-air personality from Univision's El gordo y el Flaco (Juan Carlos Espinosa).
