Very last scene with Miss Pierce in she asks Foyle to join her in her car. Her hair is bunched in dark curls around her ears, beneath her hat but in the rest of this scene and in all other scenes her hair is straight and pulled back behind her head.
The police supervisor interviewing Sergeant Shaw is smoking a cigarette which changes length inconsistently between shots.
As Foyle and Sergeant Shaw enter the Immigration Office door, Foyle walks slightly ahead of the Sergeant. In the next shot, from the interior, the Sergeant is a pace ahead of Foyle.
At the beginning of the episode, Frazier and Hoffman are seen witnessing the Trinity Atomic Test. While wearing googles they see the flash of the blast which is followed by the shock wave 6.3 seconds after (yes, I timed it..). Given the stated distance of the bunker from the detonation tower or 10,000 yards, the delay should have been much longer, 26.6 seconds.
During the same scene, about 12 seconds before the detonation, a group of men are seen looking out of one of the other portholes without googles, one even using a binoculars. It is possible that that may have looked away at the last minute, but all personnel would have been wearing googles at the time of the test.

As the scientists drive up to the gate at Arnwell, the driver of the car is on the left side of the car and so is the guard station (in UK). Must be some reason they flipped the image horizontally.
This is set in 1946 and early in the story a London Routemaster bus is seen but the first prototype of these buses didn't appear until 1954
Towards the end of the episode Foyle is in a car passing the MOD building on the Embankment side - you can see the Fleet Air Arm memorial (designed by James Butler RA) which was unveiled on 1 June 2000 on one side of the car and no River Thames on the other.
The city street scenes are in Dublin (The Iveagh Markets, River Liffey waterfront), meant to be London.
The tail on the professor goes into a Scott phone box where it is clear there is graffiti etched into the glass impossible until glass was replaced by plastic.
Sir William agrees to the questioning of Vlessing and his girlfriend, Ileana. They attempt to procure Vlessing, but never again is the search for Ileana discussed.
Foyle claims that the professor lined his vacuum flask with lead to prevent radiation from the uranium samples inside escaping. As an expert in nuclear physics, the professor would know that uranium produces low-level alpha radiation, which can only penetrate a few centimeters of air or a thin sheet of paper at most. The normal inside lining of the flask would be more than adequate to prevent any radiation escape and opening the flask would be quite safe, as long as the contents didn't touch the skin.
When talking to his wife, Adam Wainwright describes the West Peckham seat for which he hopes to be selected as a safe Tory seat (i.e. he has virtually no chance of being elected for Labour). However, the woman on the interview panel describes it as a marginal seat (a much more close-run thing).
