This episode does everything that 'Go On' has done well across its twenty two episode run.
It has funny moments, it has sad moments, and is able to walk an incredibly thin line between both in a way that never becomes sentimental or dark.
This would sadly be the the last episode of 'Go On', and while we don't get resolution about Sonia and Danny, or Ryan and Carrie, it does feel as rounded a final episode as you can imagine a show getting when it doesn't know if the end of Series 1 is the end full stop.
It's difficult to see why this should didn't run for longer for Matthew Perry. It had no glaring issues like 'Studio 60' (as much as I love that show) and that quality was better than 'Mr Sunshine' or 'The Odd Couple'.
Ultimately perhaps people didn't find much to laugh about in a show that was set in the world of grief therapy.
For me though I loved it, and will rewatch again and again as I do the previous mentioned shows.
