There's a curious examination of the Braxton family dynamics here.Brax seems to be very much the odd one out in the early part of the episode as the rest of the family get on together and banter while he's left grumbling about the noise they're making.For all his supposed frustration about having to sort out everyone's problems, it seems as though laying down the law to him is the only way for him to get involved, even though no-one apart from Casey seems to want or need his intervention.Natalie is massively annoying and it's a shame that Heath and Bianca's disapproval spoils the bonding moment between Kyle and Tamara.
Meanwhile, some unwelcome references to bad blood between them aside(are we still meant to see Liam as in the wrong over that particular love triangle?), Liam and Romeo's friendship is revisited in a satisfying manner, with Romeo's news putting Liam's problems into perspective.Over in the C-plot, Jett continues to complain about John and Gina's plan to adopt him in a way that doesn't seem particularly well thought out but it's nice that witnessing Harvey and Spencer's developing family relationship helps him.
