- After recovering from Covid-19, a filmmaker pledges to make positive changes in his life. As he sets out on a journey to fight for the planet, it leads him to his roots and humble beginnings.
- JAMYANG, 40, a Bhutanese filmmaker is infected with covid-19 in New York during the start of the pandemic in 2020. Having contemplated the possibility of death, he asks himself countless questions, among which one stands out - if I get through this, how can I create a positive impact with what I do? This question has since driven him and gave birth to the campaign, The Messenger - Call for Action. Jamyang bikes to a Bhutanese Himalayan glacier, Thorthormi and sources the glacial water into a used plastic bottle. The plastic bottle stands for plastic pollution and the water represents the rapidly melting Himalayan glaciers. Together, it is a symbol for climate action. Carrying the bottle, Jamyang rides a bicycle across the country, from west to east, stopping in schools and colleges along the way to engage with the students in an effort to raise awareness on climate change and its consequences. A film crew follows him in an electric support car and films the journey into a documentary series. The series is currently streaming on Shangreela in Bhutan.
