Really good episode 8/10
NiiBerry21 September 2023
I must say, the third episode of this season of Top Boy made dwell on a few things. It beautifully illustrates the principle that actions have consequences and it does so in a way that is both exciting and thought-provoking.

One of the standout aspects of this episode is the exceptional performances delivered by the cast. The actors and actresses truly shine, bringing a level of authenticity and depth to their characters that makes the unfolding drama utterly believable. It's refreshing to witness such talent on display, especially in a time when the quality of scriptwriting in many shows is a cause for concern.

Additionally, I was thoroughly impressed by the good sound editing in this episode. The attention to detail in capturing the audio nuances adds another layer of immersion to the viewing experience, further heightening the intensity of the scenes.

In my opinion, this episode stands out as the best of the season so far. It left me eagerly anticipating what comes next, as the narrative continues to unravel. Top Boy has truly proven itself as a show that consistently delivers quality storytelling and performances. I can't wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds.

Steph's revenge ?
AvionPrince1617 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
A Fantastic episode ! We have that sad fact that Lauryn died because of the drugs and Jaq is completely overwheilmed by the situation.

Steph will have his first sexual relationship and he will tell to everyone who the killer of Jaime is . Is that the beginning of Steph's revenge ? Is the fact that he told and revealed to the others : is that a way to tell we need to do something against Sully ?.

The tension with Dushane was there too . The fact that the money is really gone and Shelley's future is compromised with it too. Is he gonna try to find Lizzie andget back the money ? The murder that Dushane commit was brutal and tell long about how pissed of he was .

The scene at the birthday party was really tense too . The waiting , the action ..... and the fact that the Irish will no longer be a problem after that . Is that really the case ? And what about their family ? They will try to seek revenge no ? So i dont know what will happen with all this but the episode was awesome : Good rythm ,tension , violence, love(maybe sex ?),interesting lighting.

Need to see more.

This season is starting to feel extremely rushed
csbs2413 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This last season is starting to feel like game of thrones, extremely rushed, wasted characters and forced storylines. How can you introduce the Irish gangsters only 2 episodes ago to now kill them off? And seriously, if they're that high up the ranks would they just show up to the nursing home by themselves (not to mention other family members?) without any added protection? And Sully/Dushane kill them uninjured, without any police issues lol? If there's no Irish retribution in the next episodes or cops looking into this murder with a clear accomplice at the nursing home, this storyline literally makes zero sense.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was probably the worst in the entire show. Nothing important happens in the entire episode until the end when they ambush Tadgh and Jonny. How they killed them made no sense. You'd think the leader of a major drug dealing organization would come with more security than just one guy. They hyped up the Irish plug to be a major threat just to kill them off in the first 3 episodes. Besides that its just 45 minutes of dragged out scenes between couples arguing. The acting is garbage too. How they got an actor like Barry Keoghan to work on this show is beyond me. Dushane killing Jeffrey made no sense either and did nothing to further the story. Dushane just casually kills him, pours some bleach, cleans his hands and all of a sudden he's removed all evidence? Dumb asf. 1/10.
