The dead are rising once again. “All of Us Are Dead,” the popular Korean zombie series, has been renewed for Season 2 at Netflix.
The zombie horror series is one of the streamer’s top ten non-English-language shows of all time and its second most successful Korean-produced show, after last year’s “Squid Game.”
The news was announced as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week. The event is intended to showcase new and returning series, in addition to positioning Netflix as the home of Asian horror and sci-fi genre content. The company said that from 2020 to 2021, viewing of sci-fi and horror on Netflix in the Asia-Pacific region has grown 30 and 20, respectively.
The Geeked Week video featured the four main actors of the series — Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun and Lomon — thanking fans for their support of the show and confirming that Season 2 is on the way.

"Do you know where he came from?" Long Way Home Productions has unveiled an official trailer for an indie drama titled Doubting Thomas, the feature directorial debut of small-time actor Will McFadden (seen in Tiger Orange). McFadden also wrote and stars in this, and co-produced it as well. The concept for this is often used as a joke, but they decided to play it out as if it really happened and make it all intensely dramatic, so much so that it's just annoying. "They were expecting a baby. They never expected this." When a black baby is born to white parents, a family's life is torn apart. The cast includes Sarah Butler, Melora Walters, Jamie Hector, James Morrison, and Zach Cregger. I don't relaly want to be so harsh on this before seeing it, but this trailer makes the film look totally awful. Absolutely no interest in seeing this at all.

A water main break at a movie theater can wreak havoc on a film festival!
The Eighth Annual QFest St. Louis, presented by Cinema St. Louis, was supposed to start Sunday April 19th at the Tivoli Theatre. But the organizers had to reschedule when the Tivoli had to shut down because of the water disaster. The show will go on, but the schedule has been changed.
The St. Louis-based Lgbtq film festival, QFest will present an eclectic slate of 23 films – 11 features (six narratives and five documentaries) and 12 short subjects. The participating filmmakers represent a wide variety of voices in contemporary queer world cinema. The mission of the film festival is to use the art of contemporary gay cinema to illustrate the diversity of the Lgbtq community and to explore the complexities of living an alternative lifestyle.
Highlights include the St. Louis premieres of two biographical documentaries on Olympic diver Greg Louganis...
