The holiday cottage on Holy Island uses the Holy Island Lifeboats Museum with extensive exterior modification, including a new porch. This is built against a solid stone wall so couldn't be used to access the interior of the building.
This is the second production to feature both Clare Holman and Adrian Rawlings in which much of the drama takes place on an island connected to the mainland via causeway. The first being Nigel Kneale's The Woman in Black (1989).
