Maybe they will finally give Skye Blue the consistent push that she deserves, but I doubt it. A win over Emi Sakura should mean something but AEW didn't give us a reason to care.
Jay Lethal and Trent both deserve so much more than this, but it is clear AEW will never use them properly.
The Gates of Agony should be in the thick of things as a team or with Cage as a trio, but again, they are really just used to take the loss to bigger names.
The former members of the Jericho Appreciation Society don't have a clear role or path and I don't foresee that changing. Maybe best to shake up the roster and let them move on.
