This show really is back on track!

The team investigate when the body of a man washes up on the shore of The Thames. Gabriel goes for a job as a Dean, as does a Professor at a nearby university.

The show really does feel like it's back on track, after last week's terrific series opener, comes another very strong storyline. Great to finally see Gabriel put centre stage for a change, too often he's been a bit part player. Loved the whole Rocky storyline going on.

I really did enjoy Cara's storyline here, perhaps her best one so far.

John Thomson played the part of the disgruntled Detective very well, you wonder how he gets anything done, he's essentially the lone ranger in that office.

This benefits from a superb performance from Kevin McNally, he is absolutely first class here, what a presence. His character is so interesting too, it raises some interesting points, bad tempered and obnoxious? Or penalised for being middle aged, white and stale? Interesting.

I really want Jack's cardigan, it is so cool.

9/10.
