Redfall players are no doubt still reeling from the recent news that Microsoft is shutting down a number of studios. This includes Arkane Austin, the developer of the live-service title which is widely regarded as one of Bethesda’s biggest failures. Arkane Austin along with three other studios is confirmed to be closing with no comment from the publisher at the time of writing.
However, with all the news regarding all the updates that were being worked on by developers, could these have potentially saved the doomed title? For those players who parted with their hard-earned money on the $100 Bite Back Edition of the game, there was the Hero Dlc which never came to fruition. But could another update have been what turned the fortunes of the title around?
What Were The Updates For Redfall?
Redfall players have called Microsoft out on the corporate greed following the recent studio closure announcement.

In light of Xbox’s recent controversial decision that has resulted in the closure of many beloved studios that it had acquired over time, many social media users are bringing up the gaming brand’s old posts to highlight its supposed hypocrisy.
One of these posts happens to be a “brutal” graphic of the company’s team, which hasn’t aged so well; instead, it’s got people even more angry at the company’s recent decisions.
Team Xbox and Bethesda Aren’t Winning Any Favors
“What is Xbox doing?” seems to be a popular sentiment
All chaos broke loose on social media when it was revealed that Xbox would be killing smaller studios in charge of hits like Hi-Fi Rush, The Evil Within, and Prey.
Fans and community members are still confused as to why these studios were forced to close shop, rather than Microsoft disinvesting in these companies or tanking the losses.

Nicolas Cage has showcased through his extreme performances that he can embody just about any character, be it a hero or a villain, as efficiently and intensely as possible. That said, it’s worth noticing that while his remarkable acting skills have also granted him the golden ticket into two of the biggest franchises in Hollywood, he has only been cast in heroic and anti-heroic roles.
Nicolas Cage in Dream Scenario.
While he has absolutely nailed it as all of those characters, the truth is that Cage actually wants to play one forgotten nemesis of Batman who has only ever been played by the late Vincent Price in the late 1960s: Egghead. What’s more, he wants to play the character in Matt Reeves’ franchise of the Dark Knight, and has let his feelings known to Warner Bros. about the same as well!

Country-pop newcomer Dasha made her CMT Music Awards debut with a brief but electric performance of her viral single “Austin.” The song appeared on her recently released sophomore studio album, which arrived in February.
Dressed in boots, shorts, and a green vest, the one-name-only singer scored a prime performance slot at the bottom of the telecast’s third hour, despite being a relative unknown — and having never been to the titular city of her breakout hit. “Thank you, CMT, for believing in me,” Dasha shouted at the song’s end.

Kelsea Ballerini has been the hostess with the mostest, as far as the CMT Music Awards, but it will soon be time to slap an “emeritus” on that. She hosts the awards show, now seen on CBS, tonight for a fourth and last time. Ballerini is revealing she will be relinquishing the role after handling emcee duties since 2021; Kane Brown was her partner in co-hosting previous telecasts, leading up to her solo reign over the ceremony this time.
Sitting in her dressing room backstage at Austin’s Moody Center the day before the telecast, she was anything but moody in discussing why she’s enjoyed the CMTs ride so far, but why she’ll also enjoy delving further into other opportunities she’s hoping to focus on more in the time to come.

Tonight’s CMT Music Awards show will endeavor to emphasize what’s currently flameworthy, to borrow a word that has long since been retired from the telecast’s original name. Prime performance slots have been given to country music figures who are still on the ascent, from still-fairly-freshly-minted superstars Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson to up-and-comers who really seem fresh out of the oven, like Megan Moroney and TikTok sensation Dasha.

Austin Butler may not be confirmed to be co-starring in Michael Mann’s Heat 2, but the Masters of the Air actor has now been reported to be set to be the lead in Caught Stealing. Since 2022’s Elvis, Austin Butler’s star has really taken off. The former Disney and Nickelodeon child actor is capitalizing on his breakout film with roles in the recently released Dune: Part Two, where he plays the ruthless Feyd-Rautha. Coming off his creepy villain turn in Dune: Part Two, Austin Butler is lining up a new feature.
Butler will star in the crime thriller Caught Stealing, which hails from filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. Sony has acquired the package, which is based on the book by Charlie Huston, and per the logline, it “follows Hank Thompson, a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ‘90s NYC.”
Huston penning the script. Aronofsky’s is producing via his Protozoa Pictures.
Butler rose to new levels of critical acclaim with 2022’s Elvis, the Baz Luhrmann biopic that earned Butler his first Oscar nomination. In Dune: Part Two, Butler earned a strong reaction for his work as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, the psychotic villain who goes toe-to-toe with Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides. Coming up, he has 1960s motorcycle drama The Bikeriders out in June.

It is, however, very unfortunate that Ledger wasn’t between us to see all the praise he got for his role, which resulted in a posthumous Academy Award. The Australian actor was just 28 at the time of his death and had his whole career ahead of him. He was already working on a movie at the time, and the director of that movie recently recalled his moments with Ledger.

The Dune world that filmmaker Denis Villeneuve has brought to life is unarguably nothing short of incredible. For what it’s worth, it’s at least ten times better than the first live-action adaptation of the novel series of the same name back in 1984. This is why it’s only understandable that fans don’t want this newly established saga to end so soon with Dune 3 being the last part.
The flawless Dune universe
If the movie does end up in a trilogy, as Denis Villeneuve said, then Dune 3 will inevitably conclude Timothée Chalamet’s story as Paul Atreides if going by the book, Dune: Messiah. And as heartbreaking as it may be to admit it, Villeneuve’s Dune saga needs to be wrapped up with the third film because the next books in order aren’t the best for live-action adaptations.

The much-anticipated movie Dune: Part Two, starring Austin Butler, has had the internet going bonkers over the last few months. Following his Oscar-nominated performance in Elvis, Austin Butler is set to awe us again in the role of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in the upcoming Dune sequel, which opens in theaters on March 1. The world has been observing Butler since his incredible performance in the 2022 biographical drama Elvis. There is no denying that his acting career has advanced significantly.
As we all know, losing a loved one is never easy, and for Butler, the timing could not have been more heartbreaking. In retrospect, the California-born actor once said that he used to “go home and cry” after working on a TV show. As Butler was coming to terms with his mother’s unexpected death in 2014, he had to fly to New Zealand to start filming The Shannara Chronicles.

Dune: Part Two is already scoring rave reviews ahead of its release. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the film is a sequel to 2021’s Dune and sees Timothée Chalamet leading the ensemble cast, which also includes Austin Butler. In the sequel, Butler plays a psychopathic antagonist who faces off against Chalamet’s Paul Atreides.

With his talent drawing comparisons to the great late actor, Heath Ledger, ahead of the Dune: Part Two release, Austin Butler, 32, is making a name for himself in Hollywood rather quickly. While being compared to such an iconic actor is undoubtedly flattering, it can also be a double-edged sword, especially when those comparisons are made before a film even hits theaters.
Early reviews of Dune 2 have begun to circulate, with some critics boldly claiming that the film is as good as The Dark Knight, which is widely regarded as one of the greatest superhero films of all time. Not only that, but the director of the Christian Bale-starring film, to which the upcoming Denis Villeneuve-helmed epic is being compared, has lavished even greater praise on it.

With a little over a week remaining before Dune: Part Two finally hits the big screens, fans are assured that it’ll be a worthy successor to the original and will be as great if not better than the first. One of the biggest attractions of the sequel involves Austin Blutler’s eye-brow-less bald villain Feyd-Rautha, whom Timothée Chalamet deemed the best character in the film, which is saying a lot.
But while the cast got along pretty well, especially Chalamet and Butler, filming in the first week was hell on Earth for all of them, with Butler recalling several people passing out from Heat Stroke.

Whether it may be being part of an insane psychologically-charged drama or a packed-to-the-walls action film with none other than Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson can be said to have developed an iron heart and mind to take on challenges that might look crazy to many. Post Malone unleashed his own brand of patriotism at Sunday’s Super Bowl with a stirring rendition of “America the Beautiful.”
Wearing a brown blazer, white shirt, a bolo tie and jeans, the rapper and singer fingerpicked an acoustic guitar for a sincere rendition of the standard. His voice had lots of reverb and there was instrumentation backing his vocals, including plenty of pedal steel. Malone showed a singing strength many casual fans may not have witnessed before. Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were spotted on cameras slow dancing together to the song, which got a warm reception from the crowd.
Prior to the game, Malone discussed the performance in an interview with Apple Music’s Nadeska Alexis.

The 2018 film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, was a boldly stylistic and striking foray into the flagging superhero genre, and featured a wild multi-dimensional story that brought multiple Spider-People (and a Spider-Pig) together from various threads in Marvel Comics canon. The main character was Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), although audiences also met a few versions of the original Spider-Man Peter Parker as well. Critics and audiences loved "Into the Spider-Verse," and the film would go on to win an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
The 2023 sequel, "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" resembled "The Matrix Reloaded" in many ways. It was twice as visually dazzling, and it was more narratively ambitious ... and it was only half of a movie. For being so much bigger, "Across" is ultimately the lesser movie. Blake Shelton recruited a dedicated fanbase with his country hits, which allowed him to enjoy a long music career. But there was one record he admitted was a huge gamble that could’ve cost him his record deal, and perhaps even his career.
How Blake Shelton put his music career on the line with ‘Ol’ Red’ Blake Shelton | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
“Ol’ Red” was a personal musical highlight for Shelton. The song was originally created by earlier country music star George Jones in the 1990s. Shelton would recreate his own version of the single, accompanying the song with a very cinematic music video.
The music video saw Shelton portraying an inmate planning to make his escape from a Georgia prison. While serving his sentence, the inmate befriended a dog that also played a large role in the narrative. The song achieved early success, which was a pleasant surprise for Shelton.

In 1843, London publishers Chapman & Hall released A Christmas Carol. Written by Charles Dickens and illustrated by John Leech, it was inspired in part by Dickens’s anger at inequality in his country, especially as it affected children. Despite its aversion to the upper classes, A Christmas Carol was an immediate hit among readers and critics. Given the book’s popularity, it’s no surprise that movie makers have picked up on the story many times. Between its clear redemption arc and ghostly premise, the story has everything that a good movie needs.

Apple TV+ taketh away, but Apple TV+ also giveth in spades. It's been over a decade since production on the war epic "Masters of the Air" began, but the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks-executive produced limited series follow-up to "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific" is almost here. Originally developed as a project for HBO, "Masters of the Air" jumped over to Apple TV+ in 2019 as the first in-house production for the studio. Of course, filming a sweeping WWII drama with explosions and flight scenes will take a bit more time than, say, a relatable dramedy like "Shrinking" (not to mention the necessary delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic), but the newest trailer for the highly-anticipated series signals that our wait has not been in vain.
