Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • In the end, when Maxwell is freed from his throne, falls onto his knees and is blown away to flakes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • At the end of the game in adventure mode, the player comes across "Maxwell", sitting on a throne. It is discovered that he has been sitting on this throne for a very long time, held there by magical hands, and listening to a ragtime tune that slowly drove him insane. For the whole game Maxwell has been trying to kill the player to prevent them from a fate worse than death. This may be shocking and sad for younger players.
