Read More: Monterey Media Acquires Award-Winning Drama 'Childless' Monterey Media has acquired U.S. and Canadian distribution rights for the New Orleans-set drama, "of Mind and Music," based on the book "Una Vida: A Fable of Music and the Mind" by Nicolas Bazan. The film follows a street musician suffering from memory loss and the neuroscientist determined to help her the best he can. Directed by Richie Adams, "of Mind and Music" combines New Orleans' quintessential jazz scene with the element of hope in a seemingly hopeless situation to depict the unlikely bond that forms between the two. Aunjanue Ellis, Joaquim de Almeida, Bill Cobbs and Sharon Lawrence star. "I was enchanted by this film from the first moment.
