Warning: Spoilers
So watching this episode we are shown flashbacks of when Clayton was a teacher and Elena was going for a job as a typist. But In these flashbacks she is made to look like a student - it's a bit bizzare. I don't know why there been made to look younger as well - she ties her hair up.

never PETA wolf

The back story regarding the relationship between Elena and Clay. She wasn't born a werewolf, she was bitten into their ranks. By Clay. In his werewolf form, of course. This big hulking creepy stop- motion wolf comes sniffing all volatile- looking at her hand. Hell, she is actually like "good doggie" - with that abysmal-looking thing that looks like it should have a red flag tied to its tail? Jeremy tried getting him away. Then Clay bit her hand. Jeremy picks up the wolf and throws it out? Impossible with the size of that thing. Anyway, explaining the motive of Clay: there are obviously lots of options left why ClayWolf bit her. Not to make her one of them so that she had to stay there, of course not. Guess he saved her from some far worse fate by adding wolf enzymes.

Say what you like, it may not be bad, but it lacks any big- time zing. Plus point, the beautiful lead. Laura Vandervoort is, like, wow! Okay, she and Grayston Holt make a hot couple. The frequent flesh further adds to the visual appeal. Laura's beautiful face and glorious blond mane would have been enough to mesmerize me, but...

One of the weak points is that the bad guy characters aren't exactly even nearly compelling. Look at that Daniel Santos, he is a little gnat compared to Clay. They need to be a whole lot more menacing. Current lot seems so ineffectual.

Some of the wolf transitions here are well done. But the wolf "faces" are far from convincing. They look exactly like fake CLaymation creatures.

Not that I ever needed more to be convinced I'm in for the whole series - I'm hooked on Laura!
