Two things need to be taken into consideration - the budget (unconfired under 40k), and what the creators have said about other comic movie companies in the past.
First, this is live-action trailer for a comic book (for some reason). It's full of the overused tropes that the creators have complained about in the past for some years now. The opening scene is from Isom #1 where the main character in this comic, Yaira, drops Isom from a height. However she's nowhere to be seen in the sky even close to Isom as he falls. She then supposedly flies down and say off camera "Don't follow me". Isom lands on a car the is parked by itself in front of a building on what looks like a pedestrian area.
We then cut to a press conference held by 6 people one of which is recording with a phone. The props there make no sense. Streaming mics, 1 TV camera, 1 sound guy who's not even holding the mic correctly, and a sign with a reflective surface - very helpful when it comes to studio lights. And some reason Yaira (an alien?) has the worst exaggerated eastern european accent ever. Another trope - pointing out something is dumb/strange does not make it not dumb/strange - Yaira's occupation.
Fighting scene - people running in different direction away from danger. But where's the danger? One person supposedly runs towards the unknown danger. Some people in the background are just unloading their luggage at the hotel, unbothered by the filming. For some reason Yaira pushes the security guy aside even though he wasn't in her way. We get a POV shot of getting punched by her but for some reason we don't fade to black as if we passed out. Then we get the worst dialogue and response ever: Girl: Were you trying to knock me out?
Yaira: It was meant to be a deathblow.
Girl: *gets scared* Why does she get scared if Yaira's strongest punch did almost no damage?
We also get another trope the creators supposedly hate - a boss lady putting the white man in his place verbally.
All in all: bad directing, bad dialogue, strange camera angles and cinematography. A bit of good acting by Maia and Morgan.
