I love the ace attorney franchise, and i love this game, however i would like to ignore all other parts of the game in this review to focus on one thing that would not stop bothering me: what is the deal with trilo quist? Is he a possessed muppet? Does ben just have a mental illness? Is it some combination of the two? What is GOING on i need an explanation. The other employees at the berry big circus seem to usually think of trilo and ben as separate people. Max galactica does not think of trilo and ben as seperate people. Trilo and ben have very different personalities, and i cannot think of a reason ben would make his puppet fall in love with regina if he himself "doesn't really like her too much". The ace attorney wiki lists them as separate people, but sometimes it puts trilo's name in quotation marks when discussing them together as if he isn't a real person. Also why does ben look like his eyelids were burnt out. If trilo is possessed then who is he possessed by. Why does ben need trilo to communicate if they are the same person. Even if they're not the same person that doesn't make sense. Why is trilo named that, he's the puppet not the ventriloquist. Why is ben's last name woodman when he is not a man made of wood. This was so distracting i barely remember the rest of turnabout big top, and I have thought about this way more than i should have. Maybe if i overanalyze it a bit more it will start to make sense.

Edit: i have recently been informed that ben at one point talked to trilo when him and trilo were completely alone, so there was no-one to witness him putting on any kind of "act". This heavily implies trilo as a real person.

Edit 2: matt engarde is incredibly hot.
