Despite its implication of possible bribery on his part for his three-and-a-half-star review of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005), legendary film critic Roger Ebert noted Mr. Plinkett's "Sith" review in his blog (dated January 1, 2011), writing "I was pretty much sure I didn't have it with me to endure another review of this one [Revenge of the Sith]. Mr. Plinkett demonstrates to me that I was mistaken."
Plinkett doesn't understand why Palpatine's face is wrinkled after the lightning bounces off the lightsaber and back onto himself causing his skin to look deformed. He shows clips of other characters thoughout the series electrocuted with no difference afterwards when clearly Mace Windu is holding the lightsaber sideways as a shield so he won't get electrocuted. The angle of the lightsaber is also important because in Episode II, Obi-Wan holds the weapon upward while Count Dooku releases lightning from his fingers which absorbs into the lightsaber. This also creates a birth of Darth Vader/Palpatine bookended with the death of them in Episode VI.
