The first trailer for Hostel 2 director Eli Roth's The Green Inferno teases plenty of horror.
The sneak peek comes ahead of the thriller's September 5 Us release and chronicles the travels of a group of New York student activists who venture out into the Amazon to save a dying tribe.
With only good intentions, the clip reveals that the activists are eventually taken hostage and tortured by the tribe.
Lorenza Izzo (Aftershock), Ariel Levy (Blood Sugar Baby) and Daryl Sabara (John Carter) all star in the thriller.
After making its debut at the Toronto Film Festival last year, Open Road Films has since acquired the motion picture.
Roth is already said to be working on a sequel to the film and is currently directing on another project titled Knock Knock.
The studio has yet to reveal a UK release date for The Green Inferno.
