Most of the cast is made up of actors from Faultline Theater and North Park Vaudeville and Candy in San Diego. Writer/director Tina Thompson had worked with some of them previously at Faultline.
Ignatius Fischer stepped up into the Cinematographer role a week before shooting when the previous DP backed out. Jason A. Leighton worked with Tina Thompson at Crown Books and stepped in to fill the gaffer position.
Actor John Fojtik (Gruff Officer) replaced another actor at the last minute and performed his scenes less than 24 hours after being admitted to the emergency room. He did not tell the director this until after he had shot most of his scenes were shot.
Carlos Pizarro (Baked Officer) is the only actor who does not really smoke the cigarette/joint since he had coughed on a few takes. He does, however, appear to be the most high.
The part of The Suit was originally written for a middle-aged woman, but actor Joe Caldwell had read the script to give the writer notes and convinced her that it could be played as a young, Hollywood executive.
