Surviving the Class of '81 (2014)
*** 1/2 (out of 4)
Lively and entertaining interview with director Herb Freed who discusses his 1981 cult movie GRADUATION DAY. He starts off talking about how he ended up with the job and then goes into details about the actual production. He talks about having to learn how to make this type of movie and how someone told him "something" had to happen every nine minutes. From here he tells some good stories about the cast members including lead actor Christopher George. He also talks about his thoughts on the people "cheering" for people getting murdered. If you're a fan of GRADUATION DAY then this here is a must see because Freed really does tell some great stories and gives you a wonderful idea of what it was like making the picture. His stories are certainly told in an entertaining way and he comes across being very open and honest.
