Great!

I felt compelled to write a review of this episode after reading the other one left.

This is not an action show. It was not meant to be action packed, and the back stories are what make it so fascinating and in-depth.

Without ruining anything about the episode, we get to see a LOT of character development and there is no way that every individual watching this episode can't relate to at least ONE of the stories being told by these characters.

If you're looking for pure action and crappy story lines, there are plenty of Jason Statham movies out there for you. This show is built for this kind of story telling.

Remarkable achievement!

I won't give away the plot points but I will say that it's the character development and the stories that draw you into their lives. One reviewer said that the Wachowski's are only known for the Matrix franchise. They need to get out more. The Wachowski's also are known for the epic Cloud Atlas, Tom Tykwer is known for Run, Lola, Run and The Warrior and the Pricess, Straczinski is known for Babylon 5. All are known for some of the greatest moments in modern TV and movie history. Don't let someone who equates good storytelling to bullet time and monotone catchphrases dissuade you from a great series.

Sense8 delivers depth and action along with strong characters and a new concept. It's not formula or cliché, it's an original idea so far away from another generic cop or lawyer show or another crime drama that it feels like a breath of fresh air. The characters deal with death, loss, illness, fear in a realistic way. Watch this show, you won't be disappointed.

This is episode 8 and you are complaining that the episodes are all just alike? Then why are you watching? I certainly don't continue to watch shows that are not compelling. If you don't like the show get a life and watch something else.

This is a fascinating show. It is character driven and has great action scenes, too. It is a creative premise and well executed. This episode is an excellent example of the entire series. That is NOT a bad thing.

This is the first episode of this series from which I got little bored.

There was no need for characters back story, we were already connected with them.

i will write a more extended review at the season finale, but at this stage i just paused the movie and just want to vent..

enoooouuughh with the bloody stories.. everyone is telling a story ever second minute, its sickeningly overwhelming, boring , empty, senseless, where is the plot? where is the development? what's the meaning and point of people continuously yapyapping , blahblahhing, and telling irrelevant stories ... for the past 7 episodes this has already been happening.. had already been tiring, last episode there was a bit of an action, i hoped finally people would begin responding to the situation they are in, but no .. awkward unquestioning, awkward meetings out of blue just never end.. every character starts talking with a freaking story from their past... you can't make a good soup from 2 ingredients..

Melodramatic rubbish

Warning: Spoilers
You know those Walking Dead "breather" episodes that show characters overcoming difficult points in their lives, with poetic dialogue, long shots of their faces and calm music in the background intended to make it look artful, but really we all know it's filler? This feels just like that. This episode feels like it wants to say something deep, but it doesn't know quite what. All of the messages contained within it are nothing new, messages I'm so used to from watching the Walking Dead, and the incredibly slow pace makes it look like it thinks it's being much cleverer than it actually is.

In overly dramatic scenes, Lito tries to get over his breakup. He tells Nomi how amazing it was to give Hernando oral sex in an almost holy way. Later, he collapses and rolls around the floor crying in what can only be described as a truly embarrassing scene.

There ARE somethings positive. Nomi's flashback is painful in how it shows the merciless bullying endured. And Riley has great moments. We learn about the connections between the sensates and why Riley should never love Will as well as further information about BPO. This further complicates things and establishes Whisper as a creepy villain.

Overall though, disappointing and pretentious episode. I understand this show aims to say lots of things about humanity and getting over loss, but if it wants to do that it has to say something new or examine something old in a new way. It's not enough to simply show people being sad and crying.

worse than matrix revolutions

Ill write this review in response of the response of the response j/k thats stupid, speaking of that have you seen this show! watch one episode and its like watching the rest...I know we fall into the same routines but seriously this one kinda sucks from an entertainment standpoint. Wachowskis=matrix and its that simple so of course anyone knows that expects some action and excellent artistry but the connection/symbolism stuff really just sucks...there is a scene in this episode where the guy parks in three parking spots in front of a church thats kinda like this show! Ill probably finish this series but I don't suggest it to anyone.
