Sex & Nudity

  • Richard III seduces Anne, and it is implied they have sex
  • Anne is briefly seen naked in bed after having sex with her husband, but no actual nudity is shown

Violence & Gore

  • Richard sends murderers to kill Clarence. They stab him multiple times, and then they drown him to death. Not overly graphic, but we do see a good deal of blood, and we screaming for his life as he is drowned.
  • Richard has many people executed throughout Richard III, oftentimes depicted in bloody and violent ways
  • Richard orders a man executed. His head is brought into the court, and a man throws the bloody head at Richard, and he catches it and smiles
  • The two young princes are smothered to death by a murderer in the tower. Not graphic but disturbing and sad
  • The final battle in Richard III is the most bloody scene in the whole television show. Much blood and violence is seen, including severed limbs and blood pouring out of people's mouths.
