"Lizzie don't be absurd, I don't have any friends." (dialog, Red)
A_Different_Drummer18 March 2015
Very much enjoyed this episode but frankly I was not going to review it -- already done a whack of individual TBL episodes -- until I caught this line of dialog and broke into a monster grin.

Then I realized that one of the reasons I like this show so much is that it captures some of the magic of HOUSE.

It is not the guns, the plots, the dames, or the heroics, that's all well and good.

I think that, like many die-hard fans I just sit there and wait patiently for Spader as Red to come out with these little gems. These powerful insights into human behaviour that only he can deliver with the proper intonation.

(Remember how HOUSE immortalized the two words, "Everybody lies.") I think the writers know this too and I look forward to many more lines of dialog like this as my friendship with the series progresses.

Endless Berlin
Hitchcoc8 November 2022
I hope that we can get away from the psycho who thinks that Red was responsible for his daughter's death. While he was in a Siberian prison, bits and pieces of the daughter were sent to him. He now has Red's wife and is going to do the same thing to her. She is pretty formidable. To counteract this effort, Red uses whatever methods to bankrupt Berlin. There is some byplay as a woman with an eidetic memory remembers all the accounts and amounts. One interesting scene has Berlin and Red sitting on a bench at Coney Island, discussing terms and history. Lizzie must do some quick thinking to save her inconsistent friend.

Great show but..WTH ?

Really ? You make a episode in Warsaw and can't even get Polish actors that speak fluent polish ? What is this garbled Russian something accent and language? Because its not Polish for sure .... I mean do you really have so much disrespect to not be able to hire decent actors for such a great show ? .... I mean this show looks great, the cast and story are amazing ( at least until now), and then You do something like that and loose a lot of respect with the viewers of this country. Or do you actually think that Poland and Russia (or I don't know what language that is ) are the same country ? I hope this was just a misshap because this would be a waste of a great show.
