Exclusive: Eric Dane (Euphoria), Maia Mitchell (Good Trouble), Tyriq Withers (Atlanta) and Thomas Doherty (Gossip Girl) have been set to star in Family Secrets, a new thriller from Matt Kaplan’s Ace Entertainment.
Currently in production in Montenegro, the film follows a charming young man (Withers) who makes himself part of a destination wedding to exact revenge on the family’s patriarch (Dane) by seducing his affluent goddaughter (Mitchell) and befriending the groom-to-be (Doherty). But as their relationship gets steamier, the truth gets closer to the surface, forcing the question of whether anyone is safe… and who is conning who?

More finalists have been revealed for the 2022 Screen Producers Australia (Spa) Awards, with voting now open for Comedy Program or Series Production of the Year, Light Entertainment Series Production of the Year, and Reality Series Production of the Year.
The field for Comedy Program or Series Production of the year comprises eight finalists, including the fifth and final season of What Horse? and Guesswork Television’s Rosehaven, as well as Porchlight Films’ Fisk, which won Best Series Award in the comedy competition at Series Mania France last month.
The other categories feature a strong contingent from Endemol Shine Australia, which has two finalists in Light Entertainment Series Production of the Year and four nods in Reality Series Production of the Year.
The announcement is part of a staggered release of the award categories, with a new round of finalists to be unveiled and open for voting each fortnight.

Ben Watkins, known for gracing the MasterChef Junior stage with his skill and culinary knowledge, has died. He was 14.
The season six MasterChef Junior contestant died Monday after a year-and-a-half long battle against cancer, Watkins’ relatives shared on social media via attorney Trent McCain. His passing comes less than five months after his angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma diagnosis and nearly three years after his parents died in a murder-suicide.
“After losing both his parents in September 2017, we have marveled at Ben’s strength, courage and love for life,” the aspiring chef’s grandmother and uncle wrote. “He never, ever complained. Ben was and will always be the strongest person we know.”
