Director, Rob Montague and Producer, Taylor Wallace met while both fronting hard rock bands and spent time touring together.
Director, Rob Montague was a rock vocalist in several bands and toured in his 20's.
Grizfolk had not yet formed at the beginning of production of the film.
Singer songwriter, David Ramirez was not originally slated to appear in the film. After a cancellation with another artist (due to travel constraints), producer, Rico Csabai pitched Ramirez to director, Rob Montague. Csabai sent Montague "Stick Around" (featured in the film) after one verse Montague immediately called Csabai with an enthusiastic "YES!!!!! Make this happen!" Ramirez ended up becoming the heart of the film.
On the road, director, Rob Montague had to handle all of the filming and audio duties in an effort to capture moments more naturally.
