Entertaining but derivative of a specific Bernie Mac episode...

This is a clear rip off of The Bernie Mac Show S1:E3, "The Main Event" where Jordan gets bullied at school. Bernie suggests home schooling, then advises Jordan to insult the bully and tries teaching him how to insult someone's momma. Jordan goes overboard with their final strategy (acting crazy) and becomes the bully just like Andre Jr. does in this episode and the school calls in the parents. Bernie develops the narrative further, whereas the Blackish writers are satisfied to just riff off the initial premise. Too many parallels to be coincidence.
