This film is about Robert Mapes and the amazing tennis team he coached back in the late 60s for tiny University of Corpus Christi. Many of these players went on to professional tennis careers and the film is about these mostly South American men coming to see Mapes. It seems that he was dying and the men all came to pay tribute to the guy and say their goodbyes.
This is a very nice and inspirational film. Unlike many films which avoid talking about religion so as not to offend, this is an integral part of the story. The story is compelling and it's nice to see such love and devotion in the short film. Well worth seeing.
