All of these 'soldiers' supposedly served with a Stryker (armored) Brigade. The tan beret is only worn by members of the 75th Ranger Regiment not by conventional soldiers. In addition the beret 'flash' is upside down.

However, in the previous episode, Sins of the Father (#5.10), Gormley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Gormley continues to be referred to as a sergeant throughout this episode. A possible explanation is that this episode was originally intended to come before instead of after the episode aired previously.
