Hands down BEST episode of the season

Warning: Spoilers
My reviews of earlier episodes in Season 4 have not been too flattering.

The two-parter with the built-in message about tolerance and hatred was way overdone, overlong, repetitive, had plot holes, used sloppy devices to stretch (waste) time, and overall was a poor second to Judgement at Nuremberg.

This episode harks back to the early days of the show when the producers were on their game.

Technically and structurally it is almost perfect. We have primary arc involving the death of two innocents, a really interesting villain, and a great first climax. Builds nicely as the episode progresses. The viewer is hooked like a fish.

Then we get the bonus round for those who stay to the very end.

The cage match between Adelind and Juliette is good enough for Pay Per View. More fun than a barrel of hammers. And (once again showing great construction in building the story) THAT in turn sets up Julette for the "reveal" about what she has been going through.

And that is the hook for the next episode. Loved it.

(Also cool -- poor Adalind, out in the car, looks like she has been hit by a truck. For some reason, the writers give the best scenes in the series to Claire Coffee, I'm thinking the castle with the moving walls, that memorable line of dialog "Imgine MY surprise -- Imagine THEIR surprise." And now this..)

Hopefully the rest of the season will be more on-game.

WEIRDLY ENTERTAINING.

I don't know what makes this such a great show, but I'm currently in the process of watching the entire series for the 5th time. It's just a very fun, very addicting show. If you're a fan of "X-Files" & "Supernatural" will recognize a lot of people. Just about everyone who was in X-Files are in this & Supernatural. As a matter of fact, X-Files was the inspiration for this & Supernatural. I didn't get to watch these when they were new, but thanks to Prime you can watch the entire series. So, in the past 5 yrs I've seen the entire thing 4 times, so if you enjoy those other two shows I mentioned then you will love this.
