Exclusive: Andrea Savage and Joey Slamon, the duo behind TruTV’s romantic comedy series I’m Sorry, are reteaming to write an untitled irreverent Sony feature comedy. Savage is looking to direct.
Pic follows two bridesmaids at destination wedding in a far-off overseas location who both hate their best friend’s fiancé. They make some questionable choices in the hopes of getting him out of the picture. The project is in early development.
Savage and Slamon show-ran three seasons of I’m Sorry before the series was preemptively shuttered mid-production due to Covid-19 and the Warner Bros mergers.
Savage’s acting credits include I’m Sorry, Tulsa King, Veep, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Look Both Ways. She has directed several episodes of I’m Sorry and she’s attached to direct and play a large supporting role in the action comedy, The Set Up, written by Kari Granlund which landed at Paramount Pictures last year.

Order a round of drinks and prepare for a sweaty night on the dance floor because Paramount has debuted a new collection of Babylon character posters. Set against a bustling nightlife fueled by music, merriment, and plenty of martinis, the new prints make it impossible not to feel the heat of Damien Chazelle‘s spiritual successor to La La Land.
According to the official synopsis for Babylon, the film is “an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, and Jean Smart. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, Babylon traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.”
Damien Chazelle directs and writes Babylon, with Marc Platt, Matthew Plouffe, and Olivia Hamilton producing. Michael Beugg, Tobey Maguire, Wyck Godfrey, Helen Estabrook,...

Shortly after Vanity Fair revealed a detailed look at Babylon, Damien Chazelle‘s spiritual successor to La La Land, a new collection of Babylon images will give you the urge to time travel back to Old Hollywood. If lavish costumes, swinging soirees, and sweaty dance floors are your business, you might want to hold onto your hat because Chazelle’s next epic will give your dance shoes several reasons to cut rugs.

When her estranged sixteen year old niece Parker (played by Nyaling Marenah) has to come live with her because her Mother falls ill, Aunt Len is pushed outside of her comfort zone. Time and time again during this year’s pandemic, movie studios have had to make the best of a bad situation. HBO Max’s list of new releases for December 2020 comes along with the most extreme example yet.
WarnerMedia undoubtedly had big plans for Wonder Woman 1984 when it scheduled it for a holiday release last year. After moving it to the summer, however, the conglomerate had to delay its theatrical release time and time again. Now HBO Max is the lucky winner of the saga, as it gets to premiere the long-awaited sequel on its servers on Dec. 25.
While Wonder Woman 1984 is definitely the headline this month, there are some other intriguing streaming options for HBO Max in December. The month plays host to a whole host of high-powered documentaries like Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults (Dec. 3), Alabama Snake (Dec. 9), and the Tiger Woods documentary Tiger (Dec.
