According to Marcia Clark, the phone call that informed O.J. of Nicole's death was slightly different. She says that the police officer told O.J. that Nicole was "dead" and that Simpson's response was "Who killed her?", something the police found suspicious since they had not specified that she had been murdered, as opposed to having died accidentally.
The scene of O.J. threatening to take his life with his handgun unfolds in Kim Kardashian's bedroom; it actually happened in her younger sister Khloe's bedroom.
At the funeral, Nicole's sisters seem shocked and disgusted that O.J. showed up. In reality, at this point the Browns were still supportive of O.J., their former brother-in-law. Only later did they come to believe that he had murdered Nicole.
At the funeral, Kris Jenner and Faye Resnick discuss OJ's abuse of Nicole and how they should have done something about it. But according to Kris Jenner, she only learned of the abuse after the murders when shown evidence by the authorities.
Both O.J. (Cuba Gooding, Jr.) and his mother Eunice (Valeri Ross) pronounce his first name, Orenthal, as "oren-THALL". The real-life O.J. Simpson told various television interviewers that his name is pronounced "OHREN-thul".
When Kris and Faye start talking inside the chapel at the beginning of Nicole's funeral, the extra behind Kris (as the shot tightens) looks directly into the camera.
At the end, a sign is visible for "Exit 22B" off the southbound I-710. California did not sign exit numbers in 1994.
During the final shot, newer-than-1994 cars pass by on the opposite side of the freeway.
At the end of the episode, the white Bronco is shown driving south on the 710 Freeway; the implication is that only a few minutes have passed since O.J. fled the hideaway. Even in a case of zero traffic--a laughable assumption for a weekday afternoon--getting from Encino to that point would take at least 45 minutes.
At a point when the white Bronco is supposedly either on the 91 Freeway or the 405 Freeway, there's a sign that reads, "VALLEY BLVD, END FREEWAY." This scene was shot at the northern end of the 710 Freeway, nowhere near the 91 or the 405.
When O.J. fails the polygraph exam, he tells Robert Shapiro they can't let this get into court. At this point he was not charged with a crime, nor considered a suspect.
