- Our episode opens with the girls contritely meeting with Alison in prison and telling her they'll do their best to get her out. Alison is a no-show. Alison takes Aria aside and says she might need to tell her lawyers about Mike, since his testimony could save her.
Aria tells the girls she's worried that if Mike is critical for Alison's defense he'll become a target for A.
Spencer's mother talked to Wren and arranged a meeting for her with a professor at Oxford. She leaves for England that night.
The pageant coordinator, a woman named Claire, tells Emily she still needs a parent signature.
Talia tells Emily she's quitting.
Aria pays Veronica a dollar so she can speak with her with attorney/client privilege. She wants to know how much trouble Mike could be in. "A lot," is the answer.
Veronica goes to see Alison to find out why Spencer and her friends visited. Alison wants to take the stand in her own defense, but Veronica says her many lies mean she's unlikely to convince a jury. Alison asks her to be her coach for potential testimony.
Andrew asks Aria out on a date. She says she's still "sorta" seeing Ezra and he responds they'll go as friends.
Spencer arrives in England and meets Wren's flatmate Colin. It seems as if Spencer isn't fully prepared for her impending interview.
Talia tells Emily that she and Eric are separating. She is facing an uncertain future and Emily offers he place.
Aria has tracked Cyrus to a nearby hospital. She tells Hanna she wants them to go see him and get some information about who paid him to setup Alison. Her plan is to pay Cyrus for the info.
Alison receives a message from A in her cell: "You're already over a barrel, wanna be in one, too?"
Spencer's interview goes well, but during the conversation her purse begins leaking blood. Inside she finds a broken vile, similar to the ones Mike had.
After watching Emily dance, Talia says she "doesn't buy" that she only doing the pageant for the money.
Aria and Hanna goes to see Cyrus, who is in the burn unit and in pretty rough shape. He says what happened to him wasn't an accident and gives them a piece of paper with the word "carjack" on it.
A panicking Spencer calls Aria and tells her about what happened with the blood. She's worried she can't fly home. As if on cue, she gets a text from A: "Keep calm, but watch your carry-on. There's more blood where that came from."
Emily and Talia dance together. Talia breaks down emotionally.
Hanna tells Aria the note from Cyrus actually reads "Varjack." They think this could be the name A is using.
Colin tries to calm down Spencer, who is absolutely frantic saying she needs to get home.
Claire references a "moral" clause in the pageant's rules, saying they'd like her to drop out because of her ties to Alison. It's possible several of the sponsors might drop out. Talia responds that people are innocent until proven guilty and hints that perhaps the sponsors might want to write Emily a check to get rid of her.
Ashley and Ted are back together, but Hanna isn't overjoyed. She convinces her daughter that Ted needed time.
Aria falls off of Mike's weight bench while trying to reach something on his dartboard. Andrew rushes in and says it looks like the bench had been tampered with. If Mike had tried benching a lot of weight he might have been killed. While Andrew looks at her injured ankle Aria begins to cry. He comforts her and they kiss.
After looking at some records Veronica calls Spencer and tells her to call her back immediately. She says she wants Spencer to cancel her flight home.
Hanna finally goes to see Alison. Alison apologizes for how she treated Hanna and asks if they can "start over." Hanna agrees to try, so long as Alison is honest going forward. Hanna asks about Varjack.
