Very uninspired

"Industrial Soundscape" is a black-and-white short film from 2008 that runs for slightly over 10 minutes and is a return back to his short film roots for writer and director David Lynch. I am not sure what was more monotonous about this work here, the visual or audible side, but both really sucked. At 2 or 3 minutes, I may have given this one a better rating, maybe 2 stars more, but at over 10, it was just too boring and repetitive. No surprise, this is a contender for Lynch's least famous work. It really is known because of him, not the other way around and I am sure without the big name attached to it this film that will have its 10th anniversary next year would have been long forgotten. It is certainly a contender for Lynch's weakest short film work. It does not even have the filmmaker's usual weirdness to it. Major thumbs-down.

A great companion to a 10 minute reflective dance, sway or stand

This repetitive aural and visual landscape can offer a meditative state where one can be still or one can lost in his/her ever-changing periodic movements. A thoughtful experiment ...
