Mel and sue show was completely rubbish as a former TV director I have done many legendary shows! These two couldn't entertain anyone as their abysmal pathetic performance dancing about like demented clowns on speed! Well they had light lunch channel four fifteen years ago it was also rubbish so channel four axed it! I think these two need to wake up as Lew grade would never would have given a series they would be marched out of TV center laying face down in broad street never appearing on British TV again! I worked on crossroads live this was a real drama these two simply cant entertain or present they just drive you insane how useless they are!

Another chat show...joy
studioAT22 February 2015
The chemistry between Mel and Sue on 'Great British Bake Off' is part of its success (though the cake probably helps)but surely this chat show/cookery format it a step too far. ITV have gone down a similar route with Sharon Osborne and Fern Brittain and this is a similar faux pas.
It's not a bad show at all but there are far more failed attempts at chat shows than successful ones and it is clear in which category this one falls in.
The likability of the hosts shines through and the guests add something but I can't see this show becoming half as popular as 'bake off' or as credible as the bigger (better) chat shows on the box.
