  Jake Ryan : Right! Which was clearly neither direct nor particularly witty, so I'm gonna just skip over my poorly planned small talk and get right to the point here. Maybe I could get your number?

  Daisy Wick : Oh, yes! That's what I was thinking about: murder, not dating again

• Jack Hodgins : [In the lab, seeing Bones getting an idea]  What? What spark just went off in your big brain?

  Temperance Brennan : We've been diluting ourselves! I noticed earlier there's a distinct lack of injuries to the victim's left arm! There are no corresponding fractures to those in the right scapula and glenohumeral joint, which I would expect to see!

  Daisy Wick : And why is that delusional?

  Temperance Brennan : Based on the handwriting in Molly's diary, we know that she was left-handed

  [and Bones rushes out of the lab] 

  Jack Hodgins : W... wait! You say that as though it explains everything but...

  [Bones is too far to hear] 

  Daisy Wick : I guess we should be used to this by now

• Daisy Wick : If Agent Booth were killed in the line of duty, would you go to bed with another man six months later?

  Temperance Brennan : Booth will not be killed

  Daisy Wick : Lance was a psychologist and he got killed. Booth is an actual agent. You have to admit, that's a high-risk job. Actually, you both have high-risk jobs.

  Temperance Brennan : This conversation is not pertinent to the case.

  Daisy Wick : I know, but would you?

  Temperance Brennan : Uh, sex is a need like hunger or sleep, Ms. Wick.

  Daisy Wick : Why won't you just answer

  Temperance Brennan : No. I wouldn't.
