A big part of "The Clone Wars" has always been the big battles. While the other episodes had battles, this feld like one of those big episodes. And it ended up being the best yet of this new series, telling a great story of trust and helping these characters find a great place in the legacy of this universe. The action has never been so completed as they are here, and the new animation is breathtaking and beautiful in those sequences. I was happy to see some more development given to Anakin, as he hasn't had a big arc yet. However, this episode gave him a lot of moments to lead him into the peak of his storyline. There is a lot more to be done with him before then, and I hope that they are going to dedicate a little more time to his turn. A few of the episodes elements were clichés, but for the most part, they actually managed to dedicate the entire episode to this awesome battle without involving a lot of weird side stories to fold it out. I love the route this is going, and I hope that they are preparing for what is going to be an epic finale to this incredible piece of "Star Wars" history.

Trench Warfare

Admiral Trench is a great villain, a really good addition to the evil characters of Star Wars. In this episode Anakin and his 'Bad Batch' of clones challenge Trench head on and it makes for a great episode. Plenty of fun action with menacing Trench making a cool adversary.
There is some nice depth given between Echo and Rex as well.
The animation level is excellent and so is the entertainment.
My rating: 8.5/10.

Well i guess i was wrong, last week in my review i said that it seemed like disney was censoring "too violent" scenes but i am glad to confirm that theory to be wrong. The scene where Anakin killed trench was equally as violent as before. They even added the Imperial March in the background, now that they've proven that they don't hold back i'm really excited to see how order 66 turns out and just the Siege of Mandalore in general!
This episode was amazing! It was ALMOST perfect, i just would've added a scene with Echo and Rex talking about Fives but other than that it was perfect. For me this is easily the best episode of season 7 so far. I absolutely loved this arc. There were some changes to this episode but none of them were major, the first one i noticed being that Echo has a helmet that i believe he didn't have before. Also the ending changed so now Echo joins the Bad Batch which i feel is a much better ending than before. They also added some new action scenes with the Bad Batch all of which were amazing.
This episode turned out so fricking good and i can not wait to see the remaining 8 episodes now that we move in to new territory! 10/10.

A piece of Star Wars art that episode was - it had it all - the action, the thriller, the stuff we'd love to see as fans. Mace Windu as cool as a samurai blade, Anakin in his prime, the Bad Batch in perfect shape and an honoroble resolution for Echo. May the Force be with you. troopers!
Unfinished Business

In March of 2021, I decided to watch Star Wars for the first time. I chose to watch it in the timeline order, and watch everything, including the cartoons. I am so happy I did, because with the exception of Star Wars Resistance, they were all amazing. But my favorite is 100% Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It is just amazing. I didn't have my IMDb account at the time, so I couldn't review it. That is why I decided to re watch one of my favorite seasons, season 7, and review it.
I really like how Filoni stuck with the mini series of four in his seasons. This was the final episode in the four, and I think it was the best one. Whenever there is a series of four, the fourth episode is sort of like a finale. This was the finale of the first series of four. It definitely acted like a finale. Nearly every character who made an appearance in the first few episodes was in this one, and they were all fighting. It was also a complete culmination of the first three episodes. Just like the last episode. This episode was nearly entirely all action. Anakin, Mace, Obi-Wan, and a huge amount of clones were in battle. This also had a slight hint towards Anakin turning to the dark side at the end. In my opinion, this was the best episode of the first four.

Clone Wars at its best

Other than the next episode this has all what I loved about Clone Wars. It's has great characters, great humor (Mace Windu, Wrecker and Droids) and an interesting story, especially for Anakin and Echo.
Trench and the bad batch are even more interesting characters than youll even find in ep 9 (other than Kylo and Leia probably).
Also this episode is about two interesting things: trust and choices.

So, now we also have a Cyborg-Clone...

Okay, whatever I don't want to spoiler more than just the Cyborg-Clone thing, which you should have already seen in E3 anyway.
This episode is just more of the same. I basically could just say the same about this episode, than I did in the reviews before this one. This is an introduction into the Bad Batch series after all, so it's their time to shine. I wouldn't have a problem with that, if they wouldn't keep making the established characters look so incompetent though.
Anyway, so this is how the story of the Bad Batch series starts I guess.

The whole episode is pretty great, but there is one scene that makes it a masterpiece. Anakin not showing mercy to the general and there by really showing that his turn wasn't that sudden. Although the serie does show this in numerous episodes here it's really prominent, instead of just some dark side tendencies he goes fully Vader and just straight up kills the general.
Who wouldn't give it a 10?

Anakin goes Vader mode...you just know it's coming. Maybe shows that Vader wasn't that far off from Anakin.
Rex is just a great character because he recognizes and respects greatness. Bad Batch may be Chaotic, but they're on the right side against oppression and authoritarians who would cage them. Echo is a great story. Can't wait for Bad Batch series.

This is already shaping up to be some of the very best Star Wars Disney has released so far. This four-part arc feels very in line with the rest of the show and didn't hold back too much, especially with that confrontation between Anakin and Trench. As we get closer to Order 66, it's not too surprising to see Anakin acting out like this. A small nod, but a brutal one that I found hard to watch just knowing what becomes of Anakin...
The actual clone wars stuff was done nicely too. I really liked the Bad Batch in this arc and it's very fitting that Echo joined them at the end. He's perfect for it. I loved all of his dialogue with Rex, but I do kind of wish that scene had lasted just a liiiittle longer. It could have been much more emotional, given all of the effort put into rescuing him.
Still, bery solid. The animation is beautiful, the sound design is nice, the acting is good, and the direction and writing feel very much like the Clone Wars I'm used to. Well done.

I really liked eco being so useful in the missions and i think that since 6 season the clone wars its trying to give us a lesson about " to love is to let go " with captain rex seeing eco going to the bad batch because its what eco really want , it was like when Anakin saw Ahsoka leaving the jedi order . Btw i wonder what would happen if the droids accepted don't attack mace and obi wan and being reprogrammed and being used by the republic to do good things , we already saw reprogrammed droids on the 3 season That were abandoned on that haunted planet and reprogrammed by that young boy . Btw i want to see eco on the bad batch series.
