Above the door in the asylum, an inscription can be seen. It reads "MENS DANA IN CORPORA SANO." This is an altered version of the Latin phrase "mens sana in corpore sano," meaning a healthy mind in a healthy body. The misspelling is clearly on purpose. Corpora is plural, thus "bodies." The word dans is the present participle of do, which has several meanings, among which "to send to die." So the intended phrase might be "dying minds in health bodies," which would make sense in an asylum.
