CHIC 2015 played with my emotions. My mind really wants to love it, but my heart says otherwise. Here are my thoughts: I was thoroughly impressed with each actor's ability to really own up and play their part. For a short film, these actors and actresses seemed as if they were professionals. I see a bright future for them in this profession. As for the camera work, the angles were not always the most impressive. Sometimes I wish I could have seen more than the camera person's chin. The soundtrack of the movie was bearable, but nothing extraordinary. As my mom would say,"Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence." This was neither perfect or excellent.

Very Interesting Film!

This film seemed to have it all. Between comedy and moments of God touching lives through music, "Chic" was the fun tale of a bunch of kids hanging out together while learning about Jesus. We were very surprised with the structure of the film as well as the complexity that it offered to its audience while it balanced several key elements simultaneously, such as friendship, faith, and music. This film will tug on the heartstrings of old and young alike while providing a way for families to laugh and cry together in this wholesome film that displays true ingenuity.
