It's Nadine Asmar's graduation short film at the Lebanese University in the Institute of Fine Arts II.
It was filmed in Gemmayzeh, Zouk Mikael, Beit Mery, Zandouka and Kortada in Lebanon.
The film is a first-time adaptation of a french novel written by Lebanese author Farjallah Haik. The rights were obtained from the author's family including the right of making the film in Arabic and not in the novel's original language.
The film was narrowed down from a list of 2,000 entries and reached the Judges Top Ten Finalists list in the International Youth category at the first Bluenose-Ability Film Festival 2015 in Atlantic Canada.
It was selected in the Short Film Corner of the 69th Cannes Film Festival and was screened at the Palais des Festivals in the presence of the director/writer Nadine Asmar and the producer/co-writer Pascale Asmar.
