STRENGTHS:- * Santhanam's semma kalai...... * Music was good.. songs were different.... * Nirav's camera-work.....

WEAKNESSES:- * No script... * Repetitive background scenes....

FINAL VERDICT:- * Overall.. it is a clean one time watch entertainer. You will enjoy the scenes which shows santhanam on screen.... Semma kalai... Vishal climax entry was not enjoyable and Director failed to deliver a secret formula....which was flopped after watching this movie.. Just watch it for time pass....

100% headache, avoid at all costs. Illogical, meaningless and boring.

A mindless film but its a laugh riot!!! Aarya and Sanatham combo is golden!

Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga is a entertainer from start to finish. You will not be bored for a second, and you will be laughing throughout the film, its M.Rajesh signature film, if you have seen BEB etc chances are you will love VSOP. Honestly I haven't seen a film in awhile thats so breezy, so light and stress busting like VSOP, all you do is laugh, VSOP is like therapy. Don't get me wrong VSOP is not a ground breaking film, its neither very novel, its pretty much a mindless comedy, there have been many films like VSOP, but still the presentation, the new comic punches makes the film a winner. But the films biggest asset is the combo of Aarya and Santhanam together they are a laugh riot, they have mind blowing chemistry.

Story wise the film is about two thick friends Saravanan and Vasu. The film starts of in present showing them doing a fake protest, against women who ditch boyfriend/husbands for no reason. The film then goes in the past and shows that together they own a moblie shop named Vasa. Both live a happy jolly life until one day Vasu gets married, and his wife tells him he has to break his friendship with Saravanan, this is because she hates the way Saravanan treats them, always fooling around, doing some mindless joke to bother them. Vasu is then stuck two minded, until he gets the idea from another friend to make Saravanan fall in love, and get him married so all his time is dedicated to wife, so he wont have time for Vasu. Saravanan then eventually does fall in love, but does he leave Vasu, does the girl fall in love with him, does he get married is what makes up the rest of the story.

Acting wise it would be wrong to not mention Aarya and Santhanam in the same breath, because they are a combo, they are the film, together they give us a laugh riot, and like i said together there chemistry is mind blowing.Tamannaah like always looks beautiful and delivers a superb performance, shes got a lot screen time, and is super cute in her act.

Like I said before if you go into VSOP to watch a ground breaking comic film, or something with a novel, new story you will be disappointed. VSOP is a film where you sit down forget the world, and laugh for 2+ hrs, its comedy at its best, its might be mindless, but mostly whatever the film says is true.

Overall don't think too much just go watch this entertainer, if you want to laugh.I mean when i stepped in theatre I got what exactly what i excepted, I have nothing bad to say about the film, a pasia vasool film. Oh and don't forget a good friendship should never end, if your wife despises it, just learn to lie a bit... But only lie to keep a good friendship nothing else;)Thats the VSOP message!

It's a great movie to watch. Very good comic timing and superbly done acting. All time watch. All the actors performances are brilliant

I don't agree with the IMDb rating 4. It may be due to lack of reviews. People who lives their life will enjoy this movie all time.

Story line is also pleasing. Two childhood friends story very nicely captured. One friend sees the actress and fell in love. And then both of them try many tricks so that she may also fall in love with the first friend. Then a great drama with good humour starts and story keep the audience laughing and catching. It's very hard to miss a single moment .

Whole family can sit and watch together.

This is not a bad movie at all. I enjoyed it. One has to understand that the movie is not a serious one rather a silly comedy. It indeed is illogical, meaningless but enjoyable.

Arya and Santhanam combination was great. The actresses were cute. I think you can appreciate this movie better if you understand Tamil. Subtitles definitely won't do any justice.
