"Drugged" is a 7-minute short film from last year written and directed by Derek Sulek. It is basically a brief movie about a young woman taking the law into her own hands after something terrible happened to her sister. A solid premise, but the execution is not as good unfortunately. The acting is mediocre at best and the whole plot (with the vine glasses) becomes very predictable. Apart from that, we are supposed to feel with the heroine, but honestly her actions are not too smart or clever as she gets herself into great danger. All in all, a film that could have been much more tense and interesting, but weaker production values make this one a not too convincing watch. Thumbs down.
