Warning: Spoilers
A very good episode where Alicia defends a black woman who claims she is innocent of shoplifting charges. It appears that the store is engaging in racial profiling of its customers when other female black women are accused of doing the same thing in the store. Alicia would have had quite a good case had it not been for the truth to come out, forcing the woman to plead guilty so as to protect her mother.

Diane shows her mettle by really arguing a case in court, when at the same time, she is against what she is arguing about.

Nice to see that Alicia's daughter has grown into a lovely, mature young lady and is working with her mother. Similarly, it appears that Mary Beth Peil has recovered, as is conducting herself well as Peter's wife.
