Better than the actual trailer

I have yet to see "Clown", but I kinda prefer this fake trailer to the actual one.

Sure, the whole "evil clown" archetype has been exploited to death by this point, and yet, this brief fake trailer seemed interesting enough (Which I guess it was the reason Jon Watts ended actually making the film) Maybe the Angelo Badalamenti music played a role in the creepiness factor (I'm pretty sure that the soundtrack used here was from Mulholland Drive )

The real trailer also sells the movie well (Despite the overdone premise) but it has a bit less suspensful feel, seeming more focused on gore and violence.

Shame the final product was so lame

This fake trailer is actually fairly funny and enjoyable unlike the future feature film.

Far superior to the terrible 2014 remake

Honestly, this one is good, I wish they did this version instead, yeah I know it'll be cheesy but at least it'll be better. They put in more effort in this short I have to say. I like how they use Danny Elfman score from the spider man movie (Sam Raimi trilogy). That's all I'm saying, screw the remake, this is far superior.
