- From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players position characters around a grid-based area to fight human soldiers and fantasy creatures (e.g., orcs, fairies, jellies) in turn-based combat. Players use swords, spears, and firearms to attack enemies; damage is indicated by flashes, impact sounds, and occasional blood-spurt effects. A handful of sequences depict still-images of characters stabbed/impaled by swords and knives; some of these scenes depict large bloodstains on clothing.
